On the penultimate day of the USRowing Olympic Trials, Three BRF athletes advanced to their event finals on Friday.
Gevvie Stone won Semifinal 2 of the Women’s Single, while Maggie Fellows had the fastest last 500 meters of anyone in the field to take the remaining qualifying spot.
Teammates Cicely Madden and Alie Rusher finished 3rd and 4th in their respective semis and will race in the B Final today at 2:20 pm EST.
Mary Jones Nabel and Emily Schmieg won their semifinal, and advanced to the final of the lightweight women’s double, after taking early control of their race.
A Finals begin tomorrow at 8:30 AM, with the women’s single. Mary and Emily will race at 8:50 AM.
