Mary Jones Nabel(CBC) and Emily Schmieg (Potomac Boat Club) finished 6th in the A final at the Belgrade World Cup. The top 6 finish meets the USRowing qualification criteria for the lightweight women’s double, which a great result on such a short turnaround from NSR II.
Hillary Saeger and Christine Cavallo finished 4th in the B final, and 10th overall, in Christine’s first race at the senior level.

Next for both doubles is a switch in combinations (Mary/Hillary, Emily/Christine) and a training cap in scenic Bohinj, Slovenia, under the watchful eye of Riverside HPG Head Coach Judith Vogel. Following that, will be the Bled International Regatta, and World Cup II in Linz, Austria.
