Poznan, Poland. On Saturday, June 18th, Mary Jones Nabel concluded her European tour with a dominating four second victory in the final of the lightweight single sculls. Australia’s Georgia Nesbitt and German legend Marie-Louise Drager rounded out the podium. The victory came after Mary’s win at the first world cup in Zagreb, Croatia, and another win at the Bled International Regatta. Mary will now head back to Boston to prepare for the US Trials, and attempt to secure a spot on the 2022 Senior National Team in the Lightweight Women’s Single.
BRF teammate Emily Kallfelz competed in the Women’s Double with Emily Deleman, and finished 5th, in her first ever World Cup race.
