All of BRF’s athletes will be racing for the first time at Olympic Games today. Gevvie Stone (and Arion’s Kristi Wagner) will race at 10 PM EST in Heat 1 of the Women’s Double Sculls. They will be in Lane 1, and will be facing defending World Champions New Zealand, along with China, France and the Czech Republic, with three crews to advance directly to the semifinal.
Meanwhile, Cicely Madden and Alie Rusher will compete at 10:50 PM EST in Heat 1 of the Women’s Quadruple Sculls. Racing out of Lane 5, they will take on Great Britain, Germany, New Zealand and the Netherlands, with two crews to advance directly to the semifinal.
